A NEW MILESTONE IN VIDEO SURVEILLANCE
One of the key components of intelligent video surveillance is the video tracker.
This can make or break the success of the entire system. If the tracker does its job
well, it will be a reliable and indispensable assistance to the security staff. Developed by
Intellio, iTracking provides unrivalled video analytics opening up new frontiers in reliability
and coping with tasks that conventional systems fail to handle. Onboard automatic
exposure control prevents sudden changes in lighting to trigger a false alarm. If an object
stops (e.g. a vehicle in front of boom gates) then resumes its motion, iTracking will not lose
it, but will keep tracking it by connecting the paths of the two motions. Likewise, it means
no problem if the moving object is hidden by another object for a while. This allows for
analyzing the motion of large crowds.
AUDIO RECORDING
The Intellio Video System 3 supports the recording of audio inputs along with the video. The recorded audio tracks can be assigned to any camera or
groups of cameras, or a single camera can be assigned multiple audio tracks during both live monitoring and playback of recorded footage. The recording
of audio inputs can be adjusted by various parameters: unless the audio volume reaches a preset level, recording will not start.

INTERACTIVE EVENT BROWSING
The Intellio system allows for smart playback of recorded footage. The intelligent Event
browser displays video footage belonging to events on a chronological slider enabling
users to select any event for playback from the slider. By virtue of screening out footage
with no useful information, fast interactive operation and a very small number of
false alarms, the Intellio intelligent Event browser offers the benefit of unparalleled
convenience and speed in event monitoring.
SYSTEM MANAGEMENT NOTIFICATION
Installers and system administrators will be delighted about the system management notification function. Through an external email server the video
management software sends an automatic notification to predefined addresses of errors logged in the system log, e.g. in case a particular camera is
inaccessible for a prolonged period; the communication with a server is disrupted; a hard drive or video buffer cannot be written onto or the writing speed
of the NAS is too slow.
